BLACKWYRM GAMES, INC. TO PUBLISH “THE ALGERNON FILES” UNDER LICENSE FROM HERO GAMES

Blackwyrm Game Studios would like to announce that it’s received the thumbs-up from Green Ronin to release a hardcover supplement under the guidelines of the M&M Superlink license.

“The Algernon Files” is a collection of characters, some friends, some most definitely enemies, that can be thrown into practically any supers’ campaign that’s even remotely four-color. It captures a degree of modern sensibility in its character design, while keeping the silver and bronze age spirit. Face off against the likes of the supergenius Prometheus, or an ancient god made flesh in the form of The Serpent Queen; decide who’s side Hell’s Belles are really on, or trade blows with the mighty Magog – and if you feel a little overwhelmed by all the hostile attention, relax by visiting Fortress, expansive HQ for potential allies The Sentinels (Tours of the museum and vendor areas are 2-5 PM, weekdays only, thank you), the third team to carry on the legacy of their name.

In addition to the characters, who will be presented by Algernon, AI support for the aforementioned Sentinels, the book will also include example headquarters and vehicles, plot hooks galore, and a nifty set of benchmarks to illustrate why we designed everything the way we did.

“The Algernon Files” is a 256 page softcover book with black & white interior art. It retails for $29.95.

Blackwyrm Games, Inc. (BWG) was founded in early 2003. It’s done various d20 projects for such luminaries as Elmore Productions and Tintagel Media. The Algernon Files will be the first product released under the BWG logo. For more information, and future web enhancements, stop by www.blackwyrm.com.
